- We started the school in February, 1995 with 7 children of various age and 1 teacher. In the first year of our center, we have gone through ups and downs, but with great passion and love to the young ones, we have put all our effort and dedication to run the center. In 1996, we started to use the 'Galaxy' program as part of our reading program. Mama Siti went to New Zealand to take courses about the program and make school visits just to gain some ideas in providing a better environment and early education program for the children. Since then, she has been attending the World Forum Foundation Conference on Early Childhood Education which was held all over the world in getting more knowledge and ideas for the children at Twinkle Tots. Gradually the number of children at the center has slowly increased. In 2009, Twinkle Tots has about 70 to 80 children of age 2 to 6 years old and we are hoping to provide a better early childhood education for the children in years to come.
